Woman’s Cancer Initiative
The Women’s Cancer Initiative started in 2003 by Mrs Devieka Bhojwani in collaboration with Tata hospital, has through the years been able to cater a wide range of otherwise unaffordable treatment to thousands of underprivileged female cancer patients over the years.
“In 2011, we were privileged to embark on our first collaboration with the Indian Breast Cancer Survivors Conference—a significant and meaningful milestone in our journey. This unique initiative created a compassionate and supportive platform for patients and survivors, offering not only practical guidance but also hope and reassurance. It enabled women to better understand and navigate the physical, emotional, and psychological challenges that arise during and after breast cancer treatment, empowering them to move forward with strength, dignity, and renewed confidence.”
Apart from the survivors conference we have also joined hands in creating a research scholarship that gives opportunities to Indian clinicians interested in research.
